Alexander Hay Greenhouses began in 1908 as a flower cart in the bustling outdoor market of Paterson, New Jersey. The flowers were grown by Alexander Hay and his parents on their fourteen acres of land in North Haledon, New Jersey. Through the years, the business expanded to include dish gardens and flowering plants.
In 2001, we opened our Apopka, Florida location where we could grow our own dish garden material, foliage, and flowering plants.
Alexander Hay Greenhouses brings four generations of experience to its continually growing business. Decades of learning and experience have been passed down through the generations to provide you with quality plants and a knowledgeable staff.
